Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 2026
1. Our Privacy Philosophy
At SplitX, we believe your data belongs to you. Our tool is designed as a Privacy-First application. Unlike traditional online tools, we do not require you to upload your images to our servers.
2. Local Processing (Client-Side)
All image splitting, cropping, and processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript and Canvas technology.
- Zero Uploads: Your images never leave your computer or mobile device.
- No Storage: We do not (and cannot) store your images.
- Temporary Memory: Images are processed in your browser's temporary memory and are cleared when you close the tab.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect or store any of the following:
- Your uploaded images or their metadata.
- Personal information (name, email, address).
- Account credentials (we don't even have accounts).
- Browser history beyond interactions with this site.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of third-party services to keep SplitX free and stable:
- Cloudflare: For hosting and security. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent) to prevent DDoS attacks.
- Google Analytics (GA4): To understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., which split ratios are most popular) so we can improve the tool. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google.
- Google AdSense: To show relevant ads. AdSense may use cookies to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the Internet.
5. Cookies
We use minimal cookies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. You can choose to disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features might be affected.
6. Children's Privacy
SplitX is safe for everyone. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13, as we do not collect personal data from anyone.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
